The short version
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The Meridian Windows application runs completely offline on your PC: it collects no personal telemetry, and your save files and settings stay on your local disk. Own the games you already have. Not affiliated with Sony.
01Who we are
This website, ps5emulatorwindows.com, hosts the official Windows installer of Meridian and publishes its documentation. Meridian is an independent open-source project and is not affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment.
02What the website collects
When you visit this website, standard HTTP server logs record basic request data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and your browser user-agent. We use these logs to protect server stability, diagnose connection errors, and track anonymous download counts per release. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days and then purged.
04The desktop application
Meridian does not collect or transmit personal telemetry. Game folders, shader caches, local configuration files, and save states remain stored strictly on your local PC in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Meridian.
If you encounter an issue and choose to export an error bundle from the launcher, the exported bundle is saved to your local drive for your own review before you share it.
05What we do not do
- We do not sell user data.
- We do not profile visitors or track activity across the web.
- We do not distribute or host any copyrighted game files.
06Your choices and rights
You can request information on any data held in temporary server logs by contacting the operators of ps5emulatorwindows.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
