D.1Quickstart guide

Five steps from installer to first game boot.

  1. Run Installer

Run Meridian-Setup-0.9.4.exe. The Windows installer sets up the desktop launcher and verifies required Vulkan runtime libraries.

  2. Install Firmware

Open File → Install Firmware and select the official PS5UPDATE.PUP from Sony’s system software page. Meridian ships no firmware — you provide it.

  3. Boot System Software

Open File → Boot system software. The console UI starts inside the emulator window, then your library unlocks.

  4. Add Game Folder

Open Meridian and click “+ Add game folder”. Choose the local directory containing the games you already have on your PC.

  5. Boot & Play

View your title’s rating — most of the 400+ titles are Stable, the rest Beta or Test — then select your game and click Boot. Plug in a DualSense over USB for full haptics — Xbox pads and keyboard work too. Shaders compile into your local pipeline cache in real time, smoothing out subsequent play sessions.
