Highlights in 0.9.4

  • Driver-keyed pipeline cache: Vulkan pipeline cache is indexed to your specific GPU driver version, eliminating shader cache corruption on driver updates.
  • DualSense controller integration: Native USB and Bluetooth support for PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers with authentic haptic rumble curves and adaptive trigger resistance.
  • WASAPI audio mixer rewrite: Low-latency audio resampler prevents buffer starvation and audio pops on 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz output devices.
  • Thread priority scheduler: Synchronized guest thread priorities with Windows high-performance scheduling classes, preventing frame drops during background OS activity.
  • Per-title graphics settings: Configure resolution scale, aspect ratio, and vsync individually per title directly from the desktop launcher.

05Known issues in build 0.9.4

  • Some cutscene video formats display a black frame; audio continues normally while video decoding fallbacks are implemented.
  • On processors with 6 cores, compiling shaders during large open-world area transitions can cause temporary frame drops.
  • Titles currently render in SDR. On HDR-enabled Windows displays, the initial frame may appear darker until swapchain recreation occurs.
  • Online multiplayer and console network services are not implemented and remain offline by design.
